In 1948, when two men started businesses using limited resources in their backyard to make simple laundry soap, little did they know that one day their products would become household names in Indonesia and compete directly with multinational companies. Mr. Johannes F Katuari and Mr. Harjo Sutanto operate a small and rare workshop in their home in Surabaya, East Java. Driven by the need to survive the post-war era, two directions by bridging their products door to door, kiosks to villages, villages to villages.
